anastacia parents divorced in 1987 when she was only 14 years of age and she then lived with her mother and 2 siblings in new york. anastacia has a scar on her lower abdomen from chrons disease which she has suffered from since she was 13 years. she refuses to "cover up" this scar in photoshoots and is not ashamed of it. anastacia has also suffered from breats cancer in 2003 but after about a year she was back in the studio recording the "anastacia" album.
